Why deionised water matters

DI water is crucial for hydrogen generators in labs. It ensures high-quality hydrogen production by protecting the PEM cell and preventing impurities that could affect the accuracy of lab results. Using DI water guarantees the production of high-purity hydrogen, vital for precise analysis.

Using poor quality water can irreparably damage the PEM cell, leading to oxygen breakthrough, hydrogen contamination, and increased power demand. The use of incorrect water quality will void the warranty.
